A symbol of adulthood.
Leather had always been a distant garment.
When we were children, leather jackets were “a symbol of adulthood.”
Something you wear someday.
it is something you wear when the day you suit it arrives.
But in truth,
It grows more becoming the more you wear it.
Good evening.cantáte Matsushima here.
The story of the treated denim will have to wait until another day.
Today, just the leather.
This season’s leather began with the “material” before the design.
■ Leather chosen from a philosophy

Buffalo buttons and double-welt buttonholes

Irregularly shaped, shell-like horn buttons

buttonholes carefully trimmed by hand to ensure the buttons pass through smoothly
What we use isSpanish Heavyweight Sheepskin。
We select large hides close to 100ds from Spanish meat-breed sheep.
Compared with the typical roughly 70ds, the impact of the surface is entirely different.
Why are we so particular about the size?
Until now, we have explained it as “eliminating joins to accommodate the fabric yield.”
But to be precise, that is not quite it.
The reason is,For the silhouette.

just like with fabric garments, eliminating horizontal joins makes the leather fall into drapes as naturally as fabric.
Conversely, when the pieces are divided finely and joined together like patchwork,
Even with the same pattern, the way it falls becomes entirely different.
Leather with many joins develops a certain rigidity in its lines.
Because the surfaces are divided, the flow of air comes to a stop.
What I am aiming for is
A leather garment that falls like fabric.
so we choose large hides.
It may not be the best way to put it,
We do not subscribe to the idea of making garments for our customers from ingredients intended for staff meals.
The more surface area that can be cut from a single hide,
The garment quietly grows stronger.
The tanningChrome-tanned in Japan.
It has substantial thickness, yet feels surprisingly soft to the touch.
its appearance becomes refined like calfskin, while its characteristic sheepskin suppleness spreads beneath your fingertips.
Through wear,The luster deepens, puckering emerges along the seams, and the flaps curl.
It is not a treatment, but a trace of time.
That is why,Waterproofing spray is strictly forbidden.
Leather dislikes having its breathing stopped above all else.
This leather is not intended to flaunt its strength,
Leather for bringing it into everyday life.

When you hear “Le Corbusier Jacket,” a certain archetype probably comes to mind.
But to be honest, I was never particularly fond of that original.
The balance of the size and the front placket.
It never quite felt like it settled onto my body.
That is why,We reconstructed it.

the flap curls back with wear, while the W-stitching lets you enjoy the resulting puckering
Although single-breasted,The front has a deep overlap, creating the appearance of a double-breasted jacket.
Making a strong statementChest pocket and waist pockets.
Irregular flap. Double stitching.
the appearance is similar.
Yet,The center of gravity is entirely different.
Boxy silhouette. Dropped shoulders.
A length that is neither too short nor too long.
A balance that heavy leather cannot achieve.
Because it is soft sheepskin with a broad surface, it falls naturally.
The lining iswool-back satin gabardine.
The sleeve lining isSax blue × white cupra stripe.
The buttons are buffalo horn.
The hidden buttons are irregular black mother-of-pearl.
We do not pare back the unseen parts.
That is what determines a garment’s dignity.
If he were still alive, he would surely choose this one.
We infused it with such light irony and playfulness.

The other style is a more relaxed 2B leather jacket.
For those who have found leather coats too heavy.
Tubular sleeves. No vent. A pared-back design.
The length falls between a coverall and a half coat.
with dropped shoulders and a boxy fit.
Like a well-worn work jacket,
Leather that grows with you.

The oversized waist pockets and pocketing are thoughtfully designed as well, so feel them for yourself.

there is still a collar hanger—one of those touches you appreciate.
With the details pared back,The texture of the materials and the silhouette take center stage.
Because it is supple sheepskin, layering feels natural.
soft enough that it does not feel stiff even when layered over a denim jacket.
The lining here, too, iswool-back satin gabardine.
The sleeve lining iscupra stripe.
The buttons areGenuine buffalo horn; the hidden buttons are black mother-of-pearl.

A highly durable wool lining, with cupra sleeve lining that lets your arms slip through effortlessly
Leather should not be reserved for special occasions.
For spring, autumn, and winter.
Without making you feel weighed down or constrained.
That is the design philosophy behind this leather jacket.

When we were children, leather jackets were “a symbol of adulthood.”
Something you wear someday.
it is something you wear when the day you suit it arrives.
But in truth,
It grows more becoming the more you wear it.
Leather is a material that embraces time.
A garment that turns “someday” into today.
For those who want to become adults.
We look forward to welcoming you.
