— Atto Vannucci / Sette Pieghe —

Atto Vannucci is a tie brand created by Sevenfold, a company founded in Florence, Italy, by Kenji Kaga in 2011.

The brand's signature is the “Sette Pieghe,” made by folding a square piece of fabric nearly twice the size of a standard tie into seven folds, without using interlining.

Rather than using interlining to create its shape, the fabric itself is folded over and over to create thickness and dimension. Light as a scarf and soft enough to tie with ease, it nevertheless develops natural volume from the knot through the V-zone.

Every step is carried out entirely by hand by skilled artisans.
From the fine stitching to the way the fabric is folded and settled, each detail is finished by hand, creating a soft fullness and a sense of depth not found in ordinary three-fold ties.

The fabric is made of 100% silk.
Its sheen changes depending on the way the light strikes it and the viewing angle, further highlighting the soft, dimensional character unique to the Sette Pieghe.

The width, height, and placement of the stripes have all been finely adjusted so that, when the jacket is buttoned, the tie appears at first glance to be a solid tie.

Open the jacket and the stripes appear; button it up and the tie takes on a quiet, understated appearance.
This is a Sette Pieghe made for cliché, allowing you to change its expression through the way you shape the V-zone.
