This year as well,

we will be holding “that special event.”

cantáte 26AW Presentation Preview

Over the two days this weekend, we will be holding the cantáte 26AW order event.

In addition to the newly launched 26SS collection,

this is a special opportunity to view the next season, 26AW, at the same time.

Of course, if you find something you like, you can place an order on the spot.

The exhibition lineup, normally seen only by buyers and industry insiders,

can be viewed, touched, and tried on in person—something unique to this order event.

And this season as well, the collection is, needless to say, truly spectacular.

The highly anticipated leather series newly introduces horsehide.

Rather than the three-year-old horses commonly used, this time the collection is limited to hides from two-year-old horses,

resulting in an astonishingly supple texture that pleasantly defies the usual image of horsehide.

There is also

everything from jackets, slacks, and knitwear to cut-and-sew pieces,

with a reason behind every unseen structure and design detail,

pieces whose quality reveals itself more and more each time you put them on.

The collection also has its largest number of styles to date.

Alongside updates to the classics, new ideas have been woven throughout,

resulting in a lineup that reveals a new side of cantáte.

……Honestly, it is truly spectacular.

During the event, designer Matsushima himself will be at the shop,

so you may have the opportunity to hear directly about the materials’ background, the intentions behind the designs,

and even the process through which the garments came into being.

There are qualities that photographs and text alone cannot fully convey.
